But if the sea is calm, the slightly more adventourous guests can jump from the rocky shoreline and go for a swim or dive in the sea.*

With some luck, you might even spot dolphins or a sea turtle.

With ourcomprehensive range of fitness equipment, including Bowflex weights up to 24 kg and even a workout bench, along with many other equipment and yoga mats, you have the perfect setup for your daily fitness routines and Yoga or Pilates practice.
All this while you soak in the most breathtaking sea view.
4 separate terrace areas
Apart from the main dining and sunloungers terrace in front of the pool, there are 2 separate terrace areas on the first floor and a special terrace with a double sunlounger just about 10 meters above sea level.
Here, you can enjoy utter tranquility, listen only to the waves and enjoy an immersive sea feeling .

The living room near the entrance hall has a sofa bed for 1 person.

In Greece, the shoreline and the strip of land approximately fifteen meters before it, are always public property of the Greek State. The same counts for the strip of land in front of villa Kyma. Although the shoreline is freely accessible from the property, it is not owned, maintained or supervised by the owner part of the rental property. Guests who go beyond the boundary of the property do so as members of the public and at their own risk. There is no lifeguard and no supervision at the shoreline or in the sea.

What makes Kyma so special?

Quite easily: the amazing seafront location of the villa, almost unique in the whole area. Enjoy unobstructed sea and sunset views from the terrace, the infinity pool and the sunloungers platform, just a few meters above the shore.

The Akrotiri peninsula is a quite unique spot in Crete. Only 20 minutes by car from the old venetian town of Chania, the peninsula has been largely spared by tourism. You will find no big hotels nor chinese or italian restaurants here, but many small traditional tavernas and exciting things to fill your days.

From sandy beaches to old monasteries and hiking trails, the peninsula offers so many things to do... That is, if you find the motivation to leave the villa and its absolutely unique sea and sunset views.

Many of our guests indeed had to come back because it's so tempting to just enjoy a drink at the pool and admire the enchanting scenery all day long. In these moments, you literally experience what huge difference it makes staying "front row" to the sea.

The location is also ideal to perform exciting day trips, be it to the exquisite beaches of Balos, the old towns of Chania and Rethymnon, to hike the gorge of Samaras or discover the southern towns and creeks of Loutro and Marmara.

Preserved as a local secret for so many years, Seitan Limani has become one of the most iconic beaches in Crete and definitely deserves a visit.

Almyriki (on the iconic Stavros beach), Sunset Taverna (feet in the sand), Patrelantonis (exquisite fish tavern), Ramblers (best burgers and ribs in Crete...). The culinary experience alone will make you want to come back...

The old venetian harbour town of Chania will delight you with its amazing restaurants, nightlife, small shops and narrow streets that just wait to be discovered. But you should not miss out on Rethymnon either.
